Summer glau

The success of Firefly was due to the fact that she was the lead actress in Whedon's new TV show, Firefly. Summer Glau's character, River Tam, was a complex character that Glau did her best to manage. The character of Tam was made to participate in government experiments that required her to become an assassin. Tam's capacity to control her emotions was taken away from her. Glau was able to show her fighting abilities as well as her acting abilities on Firefly. Glau was able to fully exploit her athletic abilities since she was preparing to be an assassin. Summer Glau is a classically educated ballerina. Her dancing abilities include flamenco, tango, and a variety of other types. A fractured toe ended her career. Firefly was a one-off show however it was an enormous success. Whedon was so in love with the show that he was able to return to the show a few years later.
