Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage performer in several Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as a successful television director with various series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
