Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone became interested in gymnastics at age six during a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for eleven years under supervision of coach Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vaulting, as well as a gold medal on the floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began competing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. The following year Biles had a dominating performance in the sport.
